The 2015 Hyundai Sonata oil capacity depends on the engine type in the car. The 1.6 L engines can hold up to 4.76 quarts, while the 2.0 L and 2.4 L engines take up to 5.1 quarts of oil. There is also a hybrid version which carrieS4.3 quarts. This vehicle uses the SAE 5W-20 synthetic motor oil, as a recommended engine oil. It is ideal that You have this oil changed out every 4,000 to 5,000 miles. The cost of an average oil change falls between $100 and $150, and takes no more than an hour. You can typically wait to have it done. If You prefer to top up Your own oil, then You can visit Autozone, or similar automotive stores to purchase some.
