Ford vehicles such as the Ford F-150 are equipped with transponder key capabilities that allow You to progRam them electronically to Your engine. Once progRammed, only one of these smart keys or chip keys can be used to start Your engine. You can reset these anti-theft keys in juSTSeconds from Your driver's seat and use the reset codes immediately. Resetting one key requires two originally progRammed keys to complete the process.First You will want to hold down the key for 30 seconds in the down position. That will tell the system You have the right key, and it will enable You to be able to bypass the car's alarm system.

To do a bypass on a ford f 150, you would have to have the 2 programmed ignition keys for it, and it would need to be able to start now. If not, ford will need to reset it for you.
