Ford manufactures vehicles for every country in the world, and that means that they have a simple way to change the units of measurement for miles or kilometers depending on where the vehicle is being driven. The system is controlled through the message center that is found in the driver's gauge cluster. To change from miles to kilometers all You will need to do is press the setup button located on the dash. Scroll down using the arrows on the steering wheel until You see English/Metric on the screen. Press the side arrow one time and it will change from either English to Metric or Metric to English depending on what You need. When You do that all of Your speeds and distances will change over.
Where are the arrow buttons on a 2010 Ford edge? I am trying to change the kilometers to miles.

Go to the message center and change it from english to metric.
