In order to check the transmission fluid in Your Honda HR-V You can first pull the hood release lever by the drivers seat to pop the hood. You can find the transmission dipstick on the driver side of the engine next to the battery, it has a yellow handle so it's easy to spot. Before You remove the dipstick You should let Your car run for a little while until it's warm so You can get a more accurate reading of the levels. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it down with a cloth and then reinsert it. Remove it again and make a note of where the levels are at and add more fluid if necessary. -

To check your transmission fluid on your honda cr-v find dipstick in the right end of the transmission housing. Remove the dipstick and wipe it off. Insert the dipstick, remove it again, and read the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the upper and lower marks.
