Just wondering what the.Allen.head plug is on right side of trans main case towards the back middle ways up could that also be fluid lelvel just wondering any one knows

On your 2002 ford explorer v6 there is no way to check the transmission fluid, these are sealed transmissions that do not have a dipstick.

Since this car does not have a dipstick, you have to use the check valve on the bottom of transmission of the car.
It's a sealed transmission so there's no way to CK the fluid condition. Thanks Ford! But the Dealership I suppose can change the fluid. Maybe that's part of the Transmission problem..bad fluid!
