Your 2012 Ford Focus does not have a fluid dipstick for the transmission. These transmission types are planned to be maintenance-free. Sealed transmissions help to reduce the amount of bad transmission fluid being disposed of. A sealed transmission doesn't mean an inaccessible transmission. Your local Master Mechanic can check the fluid of a sealed transmission, however, the vehicle will likely need to be lifted off the ground to do so.

To check the transmission fluid on a 2012 ford focus look under the hood and find the transmission dipstick and read correct level.
Your car must be level when the fluid is checked and we therefore recommend having a mechanic with a hydraulic lift or underground bay check your transmission fluid.
