Disabling the alarm on a Ford F-150 involves putting the key into the ignition and turning it to the 'on' position. If it does not disable at that point, try starting the engine. An alternate way to disable it is by using the alarm button on Your key fob. The key fob has a button which You can use in activating the alarm sound on the vehicle. This button can also be used to disable the alarm if it goes off. An alarm system in the car should only be disabled temporarily, as it is a good deterrent to auto theft and vandalism. Most miscreants will flee, if the alarm starts to sound, as they are attempting to break into a parked vehicle.

Insert the coded key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position. This will start the engine and disarm the alarm.
