To reset the alarm on the Acura You have two options. You can pop the hood and disconnect the positive battery cable, then leave it off for about 30 minutes. This will make the power in the CPU drain, which will force the system to reset itself the next time it comes on. The other option is to pull the fuse from the fuse boxAnd wait a similar amount of time. This will do the same thing but will be more targeted. If You pull the battery it will reset a lot of things. If You just pull the fuse then it will only rest the alarm, but You will need to look at the fuse diagram and figure out which fuse is correct.

My alarm kept going off while sitting in my driveway this morning. After reading solutions on other ACURA sites. Some said it’s the key fob battery needing to be replaced. I pulled the switchblade key apart from my fob and that seems to work for now. I will be going to get a new battery for my key fob later on today.
