To disable the door alarm on a 2005 Ford Escape sit in the seat, turn the engine off, remove the key, turn the key to the on position but don't crank, buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt three times and the wait for the warning light to go off. But You may be asking Yourself what is the importance of having a car alarm in the first place. The main purpose of a car alarm is to prevent the theft of Your personal belongings within the vehicle and to prevent the theft of the vehicle itself. That said, not all car alarms are the same. Some are triggered by different actions and have different features.

Replace the battery in your keyless remote you can do this by, sliding over the key release switch on the back of the fob, and then removing the metal ignition key. Insert the ignition key into the notch on the left with the ford logo facing the front, and then gently remove the back cover. Remove the old battery (it is in a circle shape), and then insert the new battery, and put the fob back together.
