To install michelin wiper blades on a Ford Escape turn the vehicle key to on, engine off, and turn on the wipers. Turn the ignition off when the blades are vertical on the windshield so that theyre both accessible.Carefully pull the wiper arms away from the windshield. When You pull far enough, they will lock into the service position, so You dont have to hold them.Starting with the drivers-sidearm, turn the blade at an angle from the wiper arm. Next, squeeze the blades lock pin/tab on the bottom of the arm to release the wiper blade (a pair of needle-nose pliers can help with stubborn blades). Then slide the blade out to remove it from the arm.Attach the new wiper blade to the wiper arm by sliding it through the wiper arms channel. Press it into place by pulling the tab through the bottom of the arm. When You hear the tab click, its installed. Repeat stepS5 through 7 for the passenger-side blade.

The 2018 Escape does not use the traditional hook style wiper arm. The Michelin Guardian wiper blades that I purchased from Costco did not have the the correct adapter. It's totally unique to anything that I have ever seen. Make sure that you get wipers that are vehicle specific to the Ford Escape.
