As the driver of a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500, you have found yourself in the position of needing to open your hood. It can be a little tricky to find, but it is very easy to do. The first thing you will need to do is go to the driver's side of your truck, and get inside. Next, check the dashboard in the area just to the lower left of the steering wheel and instrument panel. Press the switch, and you will hear the pop of the hood. Finally, go to the front of your vehicle, and locate the latch under the lip of the hood. Pull it to release the hood, and you will have access to the engine bay.

To open the hood of the 2016 dodge ram 1500 you will find a latch under the hood itself and you will find a button on the main console dash to the left of the steering wheel.

To open the hood on a 2016 dodge ram 1500 series you need to use the handle in the truck and then the handle under the hood.
