To open the trunk of a Mitsubishi Outlander is pretty simple and only takes a few seconds. What You will need to do is make sure Your vehicle is unlocked. Now, walk over to the back of the vehicle. Right above the license plate, under the Mitsubishi Emblem, put Your fingers under the lid as if to lift and push up. You should now hear the trunk latch unlock and You can now pull the trunk door up. That's pretty much all You need to do and it only takes a couple of seconds.

To open the trunk of the Mitsubishi Outlander you will find a latch under the trunk itself and you will find a button on the main console dash to the left of the steering wheel. There will also be a latch on the inside of the trunk in case you need to open it from there.

Nope, there’s no button on the left side of the dash to open the rear hatch. (And the rear hatch button itself doesn’t work) This is a bare bones rental car
