As the owner of a 2018 Ford Explorer, You may be having difficulty figuring out how to open the hood on Your vehicle. It's very easy to do. First, You will need to go to driver's side of Your vehicle, and open the door. Look at the area underneath the instrument panel and steering column. At the lower portion of the passenger compartment, just to the left of the brake pedal, You will see a small lever. Pull this lever upward, and You will hear the hood pop. Now, go to the front of Your suv, and open the hood by pulling the second lever under the lip of the hood.

There is a lock on the back of the door. If you undo it you can find the hatch to release the door.
