Resetting the oil light on the 2013 Lincoln MKX is simple to do. You can have it completed in only 5 to 10 minutes of Your time. The firSTStep You should take is going to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and getting inside. Next, put Your ignition into the on or run position. Do not actually start the engine when You do this. Now, find the arrow keys on Your dashboard, and select settings, followed by vehicle. You should now press oil life reset, followed by reset. Finally, turn the ignition off. Restart the vehicle, and the oil light should no longer be illuminated on Your dashboard.

To reset the oil light to the 2013 lincoln mkx, without starting the engine, turn the ignition to the on / run mode. Move the gas pedal slowly three times in 10 seconds. Change the ignition switch to the lock button. Repeat this process if the indicator appears again after the engine is started.
