If You want to reset the oil light on Your 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan, You've come to the right place. What You're going to want to do first is press the Reset 0,0 button located in the odometer area. Now, You're going to go ahead and turn the ignition on. Make sure to not let go of the Reset button. On Your odometer screen, You will see a message asking You to reset. You're going to press the 0,0 button one more time. After, You will see a message on Your screen that the oil light has been reset. You're now good to go.

To perform a reset on the oil light in a 2018 vw tguan you will switch off the ignition. Click and hold the 0,0 button (located on the right side of the instrument cluster). Turn the ignition on (don't start the engine) and press the 0,0 button. Briefly click the double square button (located on the left side of the instrument cluster). Turn the ignition off, switch it back on and go back to the "fuel life" screen to check whether the indicator has been reset.
