Removing the speed limiter in a Ford Transit Custom requires the Ford vcm iiAnd ids diagnostic tool and software. Connect the diagnostic tool to the obd 2 port and wait for the communication link to establish. Once connected select tool boxAnd then module progRamming. NeXTSelect progRammable paRameters then speed items. Select vehicle speed limit followed by disable speed limiter. Select YES if asked if equipped with PATS. Click to continue and follow the on screen Instructions, turning the ignition on and off . Run PATS service function, click to continue and again turn the ignition on and off as instructed. Once You click to continue the operation will be complete.

The only current method for removing a 100 mph limiter on a transit custom is to open the ecu and connect a boot flash device such as cmdflash to the can-bus of your pcb, link boot & checkpoints through 1k ohm resistors, then read the appropriate irom after reading the boot password of the tri core processors.
