The key fob that You use with Your 2014 Toyota RAV4 uses a CR2016 battery that You can purchase at any online retailer. When the battery starts going dead You will notice that the remote needs to be used closer and closer to the vehicle. To replace the battery You will only need the new battery and a small flat head screwdriver. The first thing to do is to pry the two halves apart near the key ring slot. Once You have the fob in two pieces You need to remove the inner enclosure and separate that into two pieces as well. From there You only need to slide out the old battery and replace it with the new one. To reassemble just reverse the steps.
