Replacing the battery in a key fob in a 2016 Ford F-150 is a pretty easy process and only takes a few minutes to do. You will need to get a small flat screwdriver, or preferably a non-marring pry tool. First You will need to remove Your physical key from the back of the fob this can be done by pressing the button and sliding it out. Next You will need to pry apart Your fob from the middle of it. After that You should have access to the battery. Remove the battery and replace it with a new one, then assemble the fob and test it. As long as it locks and unlocks the doors You have replaced it successfully.

To replace the battery in a 2016 ford key fob, turn the remote over and press the release button. Take the plastic cover off of the remote. Put a flat screwdriver into the slot and twist it open to open the remote.
