To reset a Ford Fusion radio You need to follow these steps. First, go into setting in the main menu. Now scroll to near the bottom. You are looking for the SYNC option. Select this and then scroll down some more. Find the option called master reset. You will be asked twice if You are sure You want to do this. Once You confirm it will take a min or two, but the system will reset itself.

There is a small reset button on the bottom part. You just push that in and it resets.

Got to the settings menu, scroll to the bottom, select master rest, answer yes and the reset is complete. Vehicle must be in park.
