To reset abs light on a Dodge Ram 1500, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=qv31v6fywyc Your brakes need to be in the beSTShape. Having faulty brakes will lead into difficulties. Screeching sounds can arise from not enough brake fluid. Bad brake pads will result in problems with stopping. Premature brake wear is an issue that needs to be looked into. A loose bearing can make for poor stops. The brakes can lock up, which will result in crashes. Brake equipment will become old and will need to be replaced at some point. The brake pads and shoes need replacing every 50,000 miles. The brake rotors need to be changed every 60,000 miles. The brake fluid needs to be changed every 20,000 to 45,000 miles.

To reset the abs light open the hood, loosen the nut on the clamp of the negative battery cable, then take it off and wait 15 seconds.

Disconnect the positive from your bat a rate… and then push on your brake and hold it there to drain out the rest of the power.... Then reconnect the positive and it resets the system....
