If You need to reset Your keyless entry code in Your Ford Edge but do not have the original code the only way to do it is to contact a Ford dealership. You will need to bring Your vehicle in to them and allow them to connect diagnostic software to it in order to read the code that is stored in the ECU. Your code should have came in the owners manual and should be on the last page of it with a decal. If You do not have this information then there really is no other way to reset the system. You could try holding down 1-2 and then try old codes if You remember them since this can revert it to older codes.

Put the key in and turn it on and off 8 times. Once it is done you need to hit the 1 and 2 buttons.

Press and release the "1-2" button within five seconds of entering the preset entry code.
