Before we get started, I'm going to trust that You're not trying to circumvent restrictions that Your parents put on You; that'd be a bad thing to do, and You should feel sad if You're looking up this information to do such a thing. The MyKey settings exist to keep You safe and promote good driving habits. So, to clear or change the MyKey settings, switch the ignition on using one of the admin keys or FOBs. You'll be able to adjust the settings using the information display control on the steering wheel. If You truly want to clear the settings for all MyKeys, press the left arrow button to get to the main menu and go to Settings, press the OK button, select MyKey, press OK again, and finally, select Clear MyKey. You'll need to press and hold down the OK button until You see a message on the display that confirms all the MyKeys have been cleared.

What happens when you buy used and can’t see the options?

You can use the controls on your steering wheel to turn reset mykeys in the ford escape. First, go to the "settings" menu on your display screen, then scroll to "mykey." Next, click on the "clear mykeys" option to return to using two keys with no limitations. Follow the instructions to "hold ok to clear mykeys" while "clearing" is in progress. When "all mykeys cleared" appears, release the control. Remember that, in order for the deactivation to succeed, you must have both keys in the vehicle.

To reset the mykey, start by using the admin key to turn the car on. Press setup on the screen until you reach "press reset to clear mykey", you may then press and hold the reset button for two seconds until "all mykeys cleared" shows on the screen.
