Depending on what You mean by "reset" the 2005 Honda Accord radio, there are a couple of different procedures. If You just want to go back to manufacturer's defaults, You can either disconnect Your negative battery terminal for 5 to 10 minutes (press and hold power to discharge), or You can simply hold in the power button for 5-7 seconds. However, You may want to reset the radio code; this is done when swapping out radios, or if certain anti theft features have been tripped. You'll need to turn the key to "ON", and wait for the word "CODE" to display. Turn the tune button to the first digit in Your code (found in Your owner's manual), and press the button. Repeat until all five digits have been entered.

To reset the radio on a 2005 Honda accord, turn on the car. Make sure the radio is off...If not off, turn off. Press and hold preset button 1 & 6 down simultaneously for 15 - 20 seconds. While still holding those buttons, press the power button.

You should now see "u" and a 4-digit number (ex: uxxxx), then click and display "l" and a 4-digit number (ex: lyyyy). The serial number of your radio is xxxxyyyy.
