The most important thing to note about the Honda Pilot's VTM4 light is that no matter how often You reset it, if the fault that set it off still exists, the light will come right back on. As such, it's possible to reset via the use of an OBD-II scan tool. Alternatively, You can disconnect the negative terminal from the battery for a period of 5 minutes or longer. Like I said, this is only a temporary fix; the issue will bring the light right back up. Drivers report that the most common issue is a d***y PCV valve, which can manifest as an illuminated VTM4 light. It's simple to remove and clean if it happens to be Your issue. Otherwise, use that OBD-II scanner to get Your vehicle specific codes, and see if You can't determine more specific diagnostics as to why the light is on in the first place.
