In order to set the cruise control on a 2004 GMC Envoy, the first thing You need to do is turn the system on. To do that slide the cruise control switch to the on position. The switch is located on the lever to the left side of the steering wheel. When You have arrived at Your desired speed press the set button on the end of the switch to set Your speed. The cruise control will only work once You are above 25 mph. You can stop the cruise control by either pressing Your foot on the brake or switching the cruise control switch to the off position. When the cruise control is active the cruise light will illuminate on the instrument panel cluster. If the cruise control was deactivated by pressing the brake pedal You can resume Your speed by sliding the cruise control switch to resume/accelerate briefly.

Get the 2004 gmc to the speed you want it at, then hold the cruise control button on the left side of the wheel. This will set the cruise control.

To set the cruise control on a 2004 GMC envoy, the multi-function switch is your blinker on left side of steering wheel. Should be a button to push on the very end of the switch.
