Turning off the alarm on a 2004 Honda Accord is very easy. It will only take about 6 or 7 minutes of Your time, at most. The first thing You should do is make sure You are outside Your vehicle, and all the doors are closed securely. Next, place Your key in the ignition on the driver's side of the car. First, turn it to the right, to the lock position, then immediately turn it all the way to the left, to the unlock position. Without letting go, turn the key quickly back to the right, unlock position. This should turn off the security alarm, and reset the system.

To turn off the car alarm in a honda accord you need to put the key into the driver's side door and turn it to the unlock position, then the lock position, then back to the unlock position.

Alfred S is correct. It is the driver door lock cycling that turns off the alarm.....How can you put the key in the ignition when all of the doors are closed? Leave a window open. Put the key in the drivers door lock cylinder connect the battery and cycle the key a couple times!!! Like magic

For anyone who can't get the alarm off at all there is a plug just behind the drivers rear light under the carpet trim. Unplug this and the alarm will be fully disconnected until you can at least get it to a garage. This is on a 2003 CL9 Accord Type S but most models of this range should be the same.
