However, in extenuating circumstances such that the airbag could seriously injure a vulnerable passenger, Toyota has built in a way to do this that isn't typically too difficult to perform. Just make sure this is what You want to do, or else You could be putting others in serious danger. On model years 2015 to present, You'll go to the passenger's side of the vehicle with Your ignition key. If You open the front passenger's side door, You'll see a keyhole with a toggle switch, from "Airbag Off" to "Airbag On".
