If You want to turn off the radio in Your 2019 Mazda CX5 all You need to do is turn the volume knob all the way down or press the pause button that is located on the dash or the steering wheel. There is not any specific off button in this vehicle to turn it off. If You really want to shut Your radio down for an extended period of time You can always remove the fuse that goes to it. This can be found in the fuse panel under the dash on the driver's side. Doing this will also reset Your radio since it will lose power and You will need to re-enter all of Your progRammed favorite stations again.

There is NO radio on/off on 2019 mazda cx-5....you just have to turn volume down.....$35,000 and they couldn't put a $3 on/off button...ugh!

You can hit the power button on the radio to turn it off.

Correct, there is no "off -on" control for the radio. You can turn volume all the way down or you can mute it. But you can not turn it off. Why such a simple and basic function was omitted baffles me.

So no off option, just mute! - but is it sucking battery? And the display is on. How turn it off?!
