To make any changes with the Ford MyKey on Your escape, You'll need to start the vehicle with the admin key or the admin key FOB. Otherwise, the menus for it are hidden completely. Once You've obtained the proper key (while Your parents are sleeping, for example, because if You were the parents, You'd know what You did to set this) You'll start the car and wait for the screen to power up. Then, on the steering wheel controls, You'll press the left arrow button to access the main menu. From there, select settings and hit OK, then find the one that says MyKey and hit OK again. Once under that menu, You can use the arrow buttons to get to the volume level feature and turn the limit off.

To change any of you mykey settings, switch the ignition to on using an admin key or fob (make sure the engine is off). From there, you can adjust the settings with the display screen behind the steering wheel.

You can clear your mykey settings on a ford escape by switching the ignition on using an admin key or fob.
