The easiest way to turn off the passenger airbag on a 2016 Ford F-150 is to put a child in the seat. No, really! Your truck has an occupant detection system that uses sensors in the passenger seat to determine the passenger's body metrics, and will automatically disable the airbag if there's a kid or small person sitting there. You can see this if You start Your truck and see the passenger airbag indicator on the dash go off when such a person is in that seat. But, if You're looking to do it when there's an adult there, or, perhaps a better reason, a rear facing child seat, You can usually find the deactivation switch in the glovebox or on the instrument panel by the passenger door. (This can actually vary by trim level). Note, there's actually usually a sticker above the passenger side reminding how to do the deactivation.

You will need to take it to a dealer so that they can connect to the sensor and change it.
