First of all, it's highly recommended that You do not disable the passenger's airbag on a 2007 Ford Focus. The car is fitted with a smart sensing technology, which will automatically disable the airbag if the passenger is under fifty pounds -- this covers situations where You may have an animal or small child in tow. However, I understand there are circumstances where You may have an elderly or otherwise vulnerable passenger, so I'll give You the following with caution. Locate the 7.5A fuse in the fuse and relay box labeled "RCM", or "Restraints Control Module" and remove it. This should only be used in exceedingly rare circumstances, like if You're making a passenger's side dashboard repair. Under no circumstances should You run the vehicle normally with this configuration.

After inserting the key into the ignition, turn the key until it reaches the white mark points to the 'off' position. Next, turn on the ignition to see if the airbag has indeed been deactivated. The airbag deactivation warning symbol should be illuminated on the dashboard.
