To reset the valet mode for the Ford F-150, You will cycle the ignition key from the "Off" position to the "On" position twice in a row. After turning the ignition to the "On" position, use the key fob and press the F or function key 3 times and then press the lock button. This will reset the alarm, making it ready for reprogRamming and take it out of valet mode (if needed). The alarm can have issues when You are changing the battery or You lose power to the vehicle which will put it into this mode and You won't be able to use it until it is fixed and can only use the key fob to open and unlock the doors. There could also be some other electrical problems if this does not help with the reset which may require a mechanic with the proper tools to diagnose the issue.
