The Ford Explorer does come with fog lights and to turn them on You will first turn the lights switch on and then pull the knob out toward Yourself to get the fog lights on. The light switch will be located on the control arm near the wheel where the turn signal indicator is attached to. If Your fog lights are not turning on after pulling the knob You may have an issue with a blown fuse or a faulty fog light switch. Sometimes the fog light switch will allow excessive power into the circuit and will cause the fuse to blow. You can check the fuse in the fuse panel to see if it's blown. When You pull out the fuse check the wire and if there is a visible gap or dark metallic hue inside the glass You will need to replace it.

On most ford explorers you can turn on the fog lights by simply turning the regular lights on first and then pulling the knob out and towards yourself.
I have a 2022 Ford Explorer and to turn on the fog lights ( if equipped ) with the left side rotary headlight dial switch on automatic, push in on the center of the dial switch. Push again to turn them off. When they are on there is a green indicator light to the left of center of your information dash.
I have 2009 Explorer and the fog lights only go on when parking lightsare on. It does not go on when turning headlights on.

0n a 2013 Explorer there is rotary dial on the left of the steering wheel for light control. Lower left hand push button turns on interior lights, upper LH button turns on fog lights(lowest lights in front if car equipped with them), turn rotary dial one click to "cats eyes" symbol to turn on running lights(orange lights above headlights), turn one more click to manually turn on headlights, turn one more click to light bulb symbol with A in it for automatic turn on of lights when it is dark outside, not just dark in your heart.

There is a light switch on the control arm near the wheel. That has an option for the fog lights.
