The check engine light in Your 2007 Toyota Camry is a warning set off by the vehicle's computer telling You that something is wrong. Sometimes it can be as simple as You forgot to tighten Your gas cap and other times it can be a very very serious problem. The light has two different modes, the first way is when it is constantly lit, this is usually a less serious problem like the gas cap, but if the light is blinking or flashing, You need to have the car looked at immediately because this indicates a major problem with the engine. When the light is flashing, Toyota recommends You stop driving the car immediately and have it towed into the dealer.

The check engine light could mean a broken oxygen sensor, a loose gas cap, or a misfiring engine.
