If Your 2015 Toyota Tundra's displaying a check engine light (CEL) and the traction control is off, there are a couple issues it could be. It'd be helpful to know what the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) the onboard computer is throwing: For this issue, it's probably going to be a P011B, which is related to the coolant and intake temp correlation. The first thing You can try here is just resetting the onboard computer, and seeing if that gets You the traction control back; simplest way is to just disconnect the negative ground on the battery for 10 minutes. A somewhat common issue on this model year Tundra, what could be happening is the injection pump and valves are failing. This is going to cost You around $3k to fixAt a dealership, if it's no longer under warranty. You can order the parts You need online for a couple hundred bucks, though, and somewhat easily do this Yourself, if You're mechanically inclined: The part's just under the plastic shroud on the passenger side, near the headlight.

The first steps to take when this happens in a 2015 toyota tundra would be to perform a system reboot or check with a vehicle scanner. To perform a system reboot take the following steps: system reboot by disconnecting the battery for a minute and reattaching it.

On my 2013 Tundra TSS 4x4, I had this issue at 179k miles. Plugged into a computer and it was the MAF sensor. A two minute replacement, with Negative cable on Battery unhooked. Was back to normal after hooking it all back up. Just had the same thing happen on my 2015 Tundra, with only 58k miles on it. Computer says MAF sensor again. Cleaned it and all is normal.
