Only a certain amount of the 2001-2004 Ford Escapes got the recall. A recall issued for the subfRame, which may become corroded and cause the lower control arm to separate causing loss of control of the vehicle.You had to have lived in certain states or the vehicle had to be manufactured in certain states. I hear they deny everyone and want to "fix" the problem with across brace, which essentially just helps you to stay on the road when the control arm mount rots out. I'm not sure of the number of people that got denied versus the number that didn't.
I have a 2011 passenger side rot by ac line is there recall that year ?
