The Code P2098 in the Ford F-150 stands for Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean (Bank 2). This means that the PCM has detected an lean fuel to air mixture downstream of the catalytic converter. This could occur when there is an exhaust leak, bad MAF sensor or a bad oxygen sensor. You will have to perform a visual inspection of the exhauSTSystem to find any leaks. There are exhaust tapes that You can wrap around the exhaust pipe if there is a large hole in it or putties that You can spread on a hole if it is smaller. If the O2 sensor is bad, it can cost over $200 to have it replaced and well over $300 for the MAF sensor.
