There's a technical service from Ford about this code: TSB 13-02-15, which, while not explicitly referencing the 2014 Escapes (going only to 2013), seems to apply in this case. The gist of it is that You'll see the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P26B7 as a fault indicator for the Coolant Bypass Solenoid C, which is located at the rear of the engine above the starter/bell house, underneath where the vacuum pump is. The purpose of Your coolant bypass solenoid is to temporarily shut off the path of coolant going through Your engine block, so that Your engine can heat up faster during winter weather. When the engine is running at temp, the valve reopens, allowing the coolant to properly flow again. If You see this DTC flash, it's really a good idea to take it into Your local Ford dealership and get it resolved.

Diagnostic code p26b7 means that a fault has been found with the coolant bypass solenoid, which is located at the back of the engine.
