If Your keyless entry system is not working on Your Ford Fusion the first thing to check is that the touch sensitive buttons work and that the vehicles battery is not dead. If it is okay then You will want to reset the system which is a fairly easy process. First put Your first key into the ignition and turn it to the on position without starting the engine. Allow it to sit there for five seconds then remove it. After that put key 2 into the ignition and turn it to the on position as well for five seconds. After You remove that the factory code will appear on the dash for at least ten seconds.

To reset the keyless entry in a ford fusion you should take the following steps: unlock the doors with the keyless entry system with either the factory-set code or your personal code and then pressing the 3 / 4 button within five seconds. Lock the doors with the keyless entry system by pressing the 7 / 8 and 9 / 0 button at the same time.
