Some of the known problems on the 2008 BMW 328xiAre engine oil leaks, failing blower final stage fan resistor, and the outside mirror being too long. For the oil leaks, the valve cover gasket begins to leak at over 60,000 miles. This is really inconvenient since the life of the vehicle is still Young at that amount of miles. The blower final stage fan resistor failing can cause the fan to continuously vary and not be able to turn off even if the car is turned off. For the mirrors, these mirrors are foldable and when extended, they are generally longer than they should be. This can cause damage to the mirrors in tight spaces.
