The problems that the 2010 Volkswagen Routan has with its electrical system are common to most vehicles, though there's a special consideration for the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) in these vans: You'll have an engine that cranks, but won't start. When it gets going, it runs well, but it's problematic getting to that point. Note that both Chrysler and Dodge had problems with this to the point they had recalls. Not to frighten You, but there's also a worst case scenario where Your van can juSTStall out completely, with the power steering being lost and the brakes becoming tight to the point You can't seem to use them. The problem with the TIPM usually manifests between 55k to 70k miles, so just keep that in mind. Beyond that, You have the usual bad wires, bad battery, and blown fuses to contend with when it comes to the electrical system.

If the 2010 vw routan is having electrical issues it can stem from a few things. Bad wires will cause power to not flow as it should, while a bad battery or alternator will cause the car to not have power. You could also have a blown fuse. All of these can lead to parts not working, or not functioning as they should.
