TSBs associated with the 2012 Buick Regal's transmission, include faulty servo cover seals that may leak transmission fluid; a faulty transaxle 20-way connector that produces hard shifting and multiple diagnostic codes and shuddering from 1st and 2nd gear movement at low speeds and acceleration. In addition, the Regal has been serviced for a degraded torque converter clutch that causes slipping, a refusal to shift and overheating in the vehicle. A blocked 2-6 clutch regulator valve may also cause slipping or flare between gears. Owners can experience a no start, the inability to reverse or go forward and a lack of cranking power because of low fluid pressures due to a damaged transmission pump. If the Regal is subject to any of these common complaints owners will experience all of the above symptoms including burning smells, leaks, clunking and dragging clutches.

Owners of 2012 buick regals have reported issues with the transmission acting jerky and popping in to neutral randomly from 2nd gear. These are serious life threatening issues that will need to be repaired asap if they occur for you.
