As the owner of the 2013 Dodge Avenger, You may be encountering issues with Your radio. There have been a few reports of problems, but they are not widespread. The most common symptom experienced by drivers is the FM radio suddenly no longer playing. This is usually due to one of two things...either a loose/bad wire, or a blown fuse. If the wiring is damaged or loose, it will need to be replaced. This can cost between $8 and $14 for parts. If the fuse has blown, it can cost between $5 and $34 for a new one. If You have it replaced at a dealership or by a mechanic, it can cost an additional $30 to $158 for labor.

My AM FM on my stereo only plays once in awhile like it has no reception from an antenna but the CD player plays all the time
My brother-in-law's 2013 Avenger radio works great on SAT and CD Player but not on AM/FM. A bi-directional scanner with ECU coding shows 41 and 54 dB signal strength, and the factory speaker test sequence shows that all speakers work. You can hear them during the test and also the Sirius SAT radio ads come blasting through. This is a replacement radio - I still have his OEM radio, so it MUST be a fault in the car's wiring.

If the radio on the 2013 dodge avenger is not working then you have a bad wire and the radio is not getting power.
