If the heater isn't working on your 2013 Mazda CX5 it could be for a number of reasons. The two most common reasons are going to be an issue with thermostat and damaged or failed heater blower motor resistor. The thermostat is going to be very afFordable to replace if that is the issue. A new one is going to cost you between $20 and $40 and it'll only take you an hour to install it yourself. If you want a pro to do the job the total cost will be around $160 to $200. The blower motor resistor is going to be a bit more expensive of a job so it's best to try and see if the thermostat is the issue first.

There are complaints of the heater not blowing warm air and of only certain vents working in the 2013 mazda cx--5. This is often due to a thermostat problem, failed heater blower motor resistor, or a faulty heater blower motor.
