The 2013 Mercedes GLK 250 Bluetec is a sort of middle-of-the-road vehicle when it comes to reliability. It tends to have more issues than other luxury vehicles in itS-Class, but they don't tend to be too severe. This is to say, there aren't any specific issues You should expect to encounter with it. Some people report oil leaks with the Bluetec V6 diesels, but this can occur if the wrong oil is used, or if it's overfilled, and isn't necessarily an issue with the vehicle. Other drivers have mentioned that the key FOB can go out of sync and stop working, but that's a quick fixAt the dealership.

If the 2013 mercedes glk 250 is having issues with the bluetec system then it will sputter and stall when it is idle.

I’ve had a transmission breakdown and had to replace two diesel particle sensors (front & back sensors) In the last few weeks . Cost a fortune! I’ve been super careful with car since 2013. Not very happy right now. Anyone else have similar problem?

I bought my 2013 GLK250 Bluetec in Jan 2015 with 70,000 kms on it. Initially, I was very happy with it; the feeling didn't last. By Jan 2020, I had enough and sold it. Over the 5 years that I owned it, it cost me over $18,000.00 in repairs (repairs included sensors, brakes, tires, numerous Bluetec related issues). The deciding factor was when I had it in for yet another Bluetec issue, shortly after (and $2,000 later) it began jerking when I accelerated, that was the final straw. I ended up leaving a 2020 Lexus UX250h and so far, so good.

If you have ex boyfriend who is mechanic I can’t tell you how long this vehicle will last but I can surely tell you that your current relationship will not work and you will end up moving back with him or better marrying him because you will need him for life.

140,000 miles in needed a new transfer case, rear differential, and drive shaft. All. At. The. Same. Time. I'm $9,500 deep in repairs already. I bought it in 2022 with 113,000 miles on it. Look elsewhere for a luxury SUV.

I had this one and it was total waste of money , don’t fall for interior and build quality you will spend more time in the shop staring at it rather being inside of it , went with Tesla and never looked back
