Some of the headlight problems with the 2015 Acura RDX include minor things like the lights going out a little bit sooner than expected to faulty wires to that they are very dim. The last one, the lights being dim were enough of a problem for Acura to issue a recall for the years 2014 and 2015. The reason for the dimness problem is a problem with the aluminum film that's glued to the headlight's inner reflector. After a while that film might not stay on causing the headlamp's output to not be as good. This can be problematic for when You really need the lights such as when it is very dark out. For the 2015 RDX the recalls are for vehicles built between June 4, 2014 and November 18, 2014.
I have a 2015 Acura RDX and my lights are dim. Acura corporate (in California) denies any recalls or campaigns regarding the headlamps and I cannot find any information on the recalls, at least not on line. Help?
I also have a 2015 RDX with dim low beam headlights. I highly suggest you report it to 1)NHTSA under Report a problem ( the more the better) and 2) Chimicles, they are a law firm investigating doing a class action against Acura for this issue. Search “Acura” on their website to find the form to complete.

I’ve had a problem for a few years ,slowly getting worse, with my low beam 2015 RDX Acura headlights. I can’t see to drive at night and must put my high beam on. I had my bulbs replaced today ($80) and was excited to avoid the dealerships quote of $1,000 per headlight. Took a drive tonight and the lights are still dim. After googling and learning of this manufacture problems I’m wondering why they would fix the 2014 and not the 2015. Will be my last Acura.
I have a 2015 RDX. My headlights are so dim I have to use my high beams when driving at night. It is terrible because I’m blinding other drivers which is another huge safety issue! I can not afford a new headlight assembly installation. I have owned Hondas my whole life so I thought I was upgrading when I bought my Acura!
Visibility is horrible and unsafe at night while driving without high beams. It is as if I have no lights at all. I attributed this problem to my hitting a deer on October 28, 2023 wrecking my vehicle. While my car is being repaired, I have made arrangements to replace the headlights on both sides to lights that will be safer and would allow me to see at night. I have also, had to install fog lights on my vehicle in hopes of improving visibility. Of course that did not help. I can be reached at frich.628@gmail.com or cell phone 757-478-2481

Having problem with my low beam lights. The light bulbs have been replace 2 times still the low beam is terrible
Acura wanted $2,300 to replace both headlight assemblies due to this issue. What a joke - it seems it’s a defect that they are covering up and need to step up and fix it.

My 2015 Acura RDX also has such dim light it feels unsafe to drive at night without the high beams on. I have replaced the lightbulbs and it made not difference at all. This seems to be a much bigger issue and a recall needs to happen. I have reported it to the NHTSA and the class action lawsuit

My Acura RDX 2015 headlights are so dim that if I turn them to bright NO ONE can tell. I try and avoid driving at night. I have complained to the local Acura dealership and nothing. Someone is going to get hurt because Acura isn’t doing the right thing.

The 2015 acura rdx headlight problems are lights burn out prematurely and a faulty wire.
