The 2015 MitsubishiMirage is the subject of so many owner complaints that some official review sites have dubbed it the manufacturer's worst model year and make. In particular, the Mirage is noted for failing brakes and doors that fall off. Owners report replacing the brakes up to 4 times in 2 years at under 35,000 miles. And other drivers note that at the same mileage level, door hinges begin to deteriorate, putting the car at risk for panels falling off if opened or closed. The Mirage's CVT transmission has been no less criticized. Owners complain of complete failure after two years of driving. Typical shifting problems like hesitation, slippage and harsh gear movement, accompany a significant loss of power when ascending a steep surface or attempting to accelerate quickly, leaving drivers feeling unsafe on the highway and in speeding traffic.

For the 2015 mitsubishi mirage cvt transmission problems include the transmission slipping when shifting, and shifting being difficult to do at all. This will make it so you need to replace or fix the transmission.

2015 hatchback purchased with 56K miles, exchanged all fluid at 62K, 92 K (pan and cooler filters changed), next one coming due at 122K. Car stalled when driving. Code is P0796 or transmission Solenoid C stuck closed. The other codes are P1590 TCM-ECM error code which is probably related to the solenoid, and P-137 which is downstream oxygen sensor or a exhaust leak (the is a smell of exhaust in the cabin when idling). Any idea where this Solenoid C is located?
