The one problem that it does have is that it can develop an oil leak and loss of oil pressure. The oil leak is usually caused by a VVT-i oil line bursting and covering the whole engine area in oil. This can be very inconvenient since oil can be flammable and dangerous. If this does happen to occur to you, it's important that you get that line replaced. I would also recommend having the engine area steam washed so that no oil residue is left behind.
