As the potential owner of a 2017 BMW 530L, you may be concerned about what kind of problems you could run into with this vehicle. There have been an array of complaints and reports involving this Make and model. Some of the problems experienced include oil leaking from the engine area, and antifreeze leaking from the the radiator. The blower final stage fan resistor could fail, or the front tension strut bushings could be faulty. You could also experience the expansion tank loosing coolant, or failure of any number of power steering hoses.
As an information to all, i had consecutive breakdowns of my BMW 530i since the date of purchase in September 2017. The failures are always related to problems with the engine coolant, as well as the oil level and oil pressure and the various moments of the breakdowns were recorded by the two BMW dealers where the car was. Over the last 5 years the number of times the car has been in a BMW workshop, where I've had a rental car and the number of times the car has had to be towed are many. The car is currently in the BMW workshop already for 1 month and is still waiting from an analysis of the technical department to decide what to do. Is ridiculous from the BMW side. They are completely lost and demonstrating the lack of knowledge for touching this type of engine. Shame on BMW!!!! Never again.
I am currently facing a "battle" with BMW for the consecutive breakdowns of my car bought in September 2017. The number of times the car has been in a BMW workshop, where I've had a rental car and the number of times the car has had to be towed are many. If can avoid buying it please do it!!
