The 2019 Nissan Frontier is generally a reliable truck, but there have been some issues reported with the transmission. Some of the common problems are valve body, will not upshift, will not downshift, transmission slips, poor acceleration and more. One of the most common causes of transmission problems is premature failure of the the valve body. This is a cooling system design flaw and should be addressed immediately. It is not a good idea to keep driving Your car if it presents a transmission problem. The more time a small problem persists the bigger it becomes, and also expensive to fix. Regular maintenance and simple things like topping up or changing Your transmission fluid can help keep problems away.

2019 nissan frontier transmission problems are usually related to the transmission slipping out of gear or having a rough time shifting.

I have a 2019 frontier with the 4cyl. The transmission does not shift correctly and something is wrong with the overdrive feature . Since it will not show a code 2 dealers refuse to fix it. They both say ...no codes its fine sorry nothing we can do. Terrible truck dont buy one

I have a 2019 Nissan frontier. Just bought it 2 days ago and my O D light came on And I think I have a warranty. They've made me Sin 4 extra money for the truck for this warranty so I'm a holdom to it.

Reverse went out and the truck will drive in neutral never had any problems with the truck shifting occasionally it would sleep slip or act like it wanted to jump gears. This truck hasnever given me any issues. 10/10 wouldn't recommend a frontier to anybody

Had the same problem, kept taking it back, over and over, took me 4 months of it being in the shop but they finally put a new transmission in the truck. Mine was under warranty. I have a 2019 SV 4X4. It was so unsafe to drive, I just kept being persistent.
